Pangi Present Prep Post!

Ello, welcome to the post which 記錄s how Pangi Chye Ja's present came into existence! We got her present on the day Pervee and I went to Yoga's autograph session, so please pardon the random appearance of Yoga.

WARNING! This post might lead to a lag-fest due to the amount of photos.

FIRST DAY:

Our tools - colour pens, glue, coloured paper, tissue(??), etc.

Some ideas about the interior of the card and how to draw the "Happy Birthday" letters.

The mess we made for the Mos Burger auntie who refused to give us more creamer. (LOL not really)

Accomplishment of the day:
Daddy's little expensive "Happy Birthday Lau Lau!" Card Bag

Not shown in the picture, but we finished half of the interior of the card, which includes our birthday greetings. And some bullshiting on the card. Some.
Notice something special about the card? Yep, it's supposed to be a "bag"! It was supposed to be a normal card...but the rounded edges made it look like a bag so we decided to make it one! There's even thread lines(?) on the pockets' and flaps' edges.

SECOND DAY:
Finally, we got the photos all printed out (after editting with Photoshop!) and so...

It's a schoolday so we only went to develop and slot the photos into their respectively places. What's left is the other half of the card!

THIRD DAY:
YAY, this day's the day everything (except wrapping the present) was done. We glued the date onto the cover and pasted all the photos onto the card.

I'm so touched. LOL.

This isn't card-related, but just like everytime, my ice cream melted. I'm sorry to say that Pervee's toe kena-ed some of the dropped rainbow rice. HAHAHA!

Connections

It’s almost three months since Jonghyun committed suicide, but I remain easily affected by any mention of him or his works. And he is but a celebrity whom I have a one-sided acquaintance with and actively sought out news about him years ago. It’s probably really hard for people who have never liked or cared about celebrities enough to understand his effect, not just on me, but the millions of fans who have varying levels of acquaintance with and active following of his news. I just downloaded and read Chapitre 122 of Tsubasa (scans courtesy of Chibiyuuto). After reading it all I can say is if you're an idiot who's thinking of dropping the series because of a shit reason like oh-god-it's-so-boring , you should slap yourself a hundred times, write "I will never drop any CLAMP series ever again." a thousand times and bang your head against the wall. o__O Chapitre 122 is super super super good .
