Korean Variety - HORROR SPECIAL! <3
I mentioned about this a long time ago(!) and finally was reminded to do this post by an episode of "Kko Kko Tour Single♥Single". Call me sick, but I love seeing people scream like mad - totally hilarious. So here it is!
Jihwaza Horror Special
How can it not be hilarious? Especially with the Hwangbo (blonde hair!?) and Eun Ji Won couple, everything goes wrong and becomes really funny. Even those couples with entertainers I totally don't know are great to watch. Chucky Shin, played by (who else...?) Shin Jung Hwan, deserves honarary mention as a great comical character. With the very elaborate set and plain dumb storyline, it's one of the best horror specials.
Are You Ready? Episode 11 ~ Haunted House Special
"Are You Ready?" is the early version of "1Night2Days", with the theme for each week changing everytime. The entertainers in this episode were made to enter a dilapidated unused school filled with scary things by the production team. Funniest out of everyone was Noh Hong Chul's. Despite his weird antics normally, he was shouting and begging the "ghosts" to leave him alone when he was made to enter alone.

There's two kinds of people in this show - the screaming-like-mad ones, and the "Meh!" ones. Normally, I like it when people scream like mad, but for this one, the funnier ones are those that weren't freaked out at all. Young Saeng and Hyun Joong were walking through the forest like a walk in the park and the scariest thing for Hyun Joong is not the ghosts, but the key hidden in an octopus (Gross, I know)! I feel bad for Hyung Joon though - he really is afraid.

A horror special disguised as a date - creative! If you've watched the show before, you should know in every episode, the guys and the girls gets to choose whom they want to go on a date with by alighting with him/her at a stop. Well, this section's an interesting change - the guys choose who they wanna protect when the girls enter a haunted village one by one. Really funny when Min Woo came running back with Amy and his pants almost falling. Totally WTF! A shame this segment was ultra short!
