Let's start with the statistics:
Total days in school - 10 ( 5 each for orientation and proper schooling)
Average time when i get home - 6PM
Amount spent on school stuff 'til now - $244
Amount going to spend on camera - $400 - 500? (Maybe i should ask Cynthia about which cam to get...)
I feel guilty getting money from my 'rents to pay for all the stuff our school and our Art Fiend gang up on us to purchse. I mean, WTF! C'mon, who doesn't have A4 printing paper?! The A3 one is, well I dunno if it's gonna be used, but I'll shut up purely because I don't have it, but the A4 printing paper?! COME ON! Stop cheating our money! You ****er!
I bet we have more to spend (at least $100 for just our VAS class I think...) and I still haven't get a backpack yet...! =( My right shoulder is complaining. And my left is counting the days till it gets strained too. Anyway, I've got my eyes set on this backpack from Zipia:

I'm bent on getting it so there's no running. I'm gonna pay some myself and get the rest from my 'rents. I'm sorry, but I'm using this for 3 years so please bear with it!
Was thinking of getting those common Eastpak(?), Dickies or Yakpak but...it's around the same price and what's more, they're so darn common, so I ditched that idea. Whee! =)
Anyway, enough about my backpack crisis.
I'm gonna do a class-by-class review because I have loads to say!
Foundation Design Studio
First lesson, we did a Brickboy (but I always call it paper robot and Pei calls it the roBUTT LOL). Second lesson, we had to make a famous character/person into a Brickboy.
It's been one of the less stressful classes, me thinks. Just do this simple robot and then make a 2:1 version of it with your favourite singer/etc on it and BINGO!!
I can imagine me being pissed at the final product, but happily doing it. Why? Because I'm making Micky! NO NOT MICKY MOUSE! MICKY! YOOCHUN DA! (I'm not doing Yunho because his hair is hard to make realistic with a Brickboy.)
I can't wait to get started on it actually, and it's so OOC because I hate homework.
For FDS, I have a Korean tutor, Jae. Lesson 2 I had a convo with her and it was really fun talking to someone that loves the same thing that I do. She listens to DBSK too and, I thought she would be the type of fans that just listen to DBSK but, she watches those variety shows they're on too! So kewl! <3
She's like, really pro. She can talk to everybody about everything, from Naruto to Korean variety. -applauds her-
After Peng Peng in Sec school, I have a new crush on a teacher - Ms Jae Eun! HAHA!
Graphic Communication
First class was Photography!
HOLY MA! It was really, really a great lesson. Learnt a lot and I was listening attentively like I never before.
I took some really weird photos, like a broom and trash, a broom on a wooden platform, a crane with the sky as backdrop and a bright pink flower with black background (tyco one). I have the idea, but it's not coming out as I want to. I've got lots to improve on. =)
I can't want to get my own DSLR next month!!!! <3
I'm planning to make my blog into half a photography blog. It'll be cool, and I can save on words - a picture speaks a thousand words, deshou?
Visual Arts Studio
Money-sucking. We paid more than $30 on Acrylic paint just in the first week. 囧
and the lecturer is kinda weird leh. I dunno. Up til now we've only been doing colour charts, which is bloody annoying because we only get primary colours (RGB) and black/white, but we have a make a circle of colours and each colour msut be distinguishable from the other.
I've redone the chromaticness one once, and I think Imma do it another time because the paint job sucks.
The teacher wants us to use this image as a guide, but you know what?! It's not gonna work! Because the "red" we got is like pink! No wonder my wheel is like...nicer, though less distinct.
Gonna work on white/blackness later. good luck to me. My poor printer's been busy these few days...and there's brickboy 2:1 to print...!

One teaches presentation skills, the other is just CIP. Self-explanatory.

Demoralising! Couldn't draw to save my life. Spent a lot of time koping Jin's eraser! HAHA! I'm sorry, but I really can't draw, OK!

I really love it here. Smaller classes and more interest-related. Everyone's high on crack or something and it's easy to have fun. The lecturers don't treat us like little kids, we can listen to music in class while we work as long as we don't while they talk. We can actually scold "FUCK!" out loud and they won't go "I'm holding you back for detention."
It's freedom!
It's so sad knowing my current class is temporary and we're seperating after this semester. As much as I'm not feeling for some of the CF classes, I wish it'll be longer. =(

I'm feeling a little emo after reading some blogs. I get emo so easily - do I have depression or something, huh!
I understand how Pei feels about the SMS-ing everday thing. It's a small thing but I care! I hate it if my SMSes are ignored so don't you do it! Maybe you didn't see it or freaking SingTel ate it. Screw them.
You can't tell if someone's replying, annoyed or if his/her emotions are muted by SMSing. I try to sound high by putting exclamation marks or going LOL/HAHAHA, just so the message doesn't sound cold. If my message sounds cold/pissed, I probably am. Am I making sense?
Took the bus yesterday and didn't do much sight-seeing because I fell asleep...! x___x
Went the the bus-stop at SP's side and thought I would be taking it the wrong way if I took 74 from there, but I went to the other side and realise I can only take 166 from there, which would take a superbly long time! So I had to walk back again. =.=
Biang eh!
I shall take the bus on every Friday! But I bet I'll fall asleep again.
