Why on Earth does Singapore's Internet Service Provider suck so much? It's just excessive rain, that's all?! Why does the fucking Internet connection have to be, not only laggy, but also problematic. Just go f-duck yourself la.

Ahem. Baaaaack from boring Suntec City. Bought a new book, Atonement by Ian McEwan. Saw the movie trailer and wanted to find out more blah blah blah. Oh and, since jL says I will definitely mention it, I shall mention it. There's this manga cafe at My Playground, and guess what their sweet corn is called? "Manga Sweetcorn"!!! <___< For some totally nutty reason, she says the cafe's boss “很有魅力”. Let's ignore her - she's not in her right mind.

Oh, here's an advertisement for Harris, in honour of their wide collection of books. Their Suntec City store has got a storewide 20% discount - go buy some books to burn to roast your turkey.

It’s almost three months since Jonghyun committed suicide, but I remain easily affected by any mention of him or his works. And he is but a celebrity whom I have a one-sided acquaintance with and actively sought out news about him years ago. It’s probably really hard for people who have never liked or cared about celebrities enough to understand his effect, not just on me, but the millions of fans who have varying levels of acquaintance with and active following of his news. I just downloaded and read Chapitre 122 of Tsubasa (scans courtesy of Chibiyuuto).
