Didn't go school today because I didn't feel like it.

So I pretended to be sick and stayed home studying, reading and...playing UNO.
Lau Lau and I pretended to be Africans and talked crap about some vodka that has cockroaches in it. We only had a saved conversation/game because we spent a lot of time trying to get into the same game and getting people who were willing to crap with us.

I hope I won't fail Chemistry tomorrow! Good luck to me!

Here's some pics from Valentine's Day. Lau Lau, Pervee, Pei Qi and I went Bishan to...gai gai. I said I wanted to eat Long John Silver in school, so we did. And since they've got some Reunion Dinner set, we ate that.

I don't know what to say, but I hope things will change for the better. Natsuki Takaya (高屋 奈月), of the "Fruits Basket" fame, has another series, "星は歌う"（fan-translation: Twinkle Star), started in Hana to Yume! Looks promising, might buy when Chuang Yi publishes it. Eien no Monogatari

Hi, Weave. It's Friday! My favourite day of the week. We had to write a "It's year 2100, you're gonna die in a nuclear war, whatcha gonna do?" short essay. I, being the 浪漫主义-type of person, decided to write a touching story...which turned out to be funny. LOL. Well, I said that I'll sing a song for everyone if I'm gonna die tomorrow and that if I'm sincere enough, tomorrow will come and I won't die "...but tomorrow has come and I--". OK, the "--" means "BOTHER, I'M DEAD". Everyone who read it decided to laugh. Well, from another perspective, it's really dumb I guess. -sigh- I can't be a novelist, then? It’s almost three months since Jonghyun committed suicide, but I remain easily affected by any mention of him or his works. And he is but a celebrity whom I have a one-sided acquaintance with and actively sought out news about him years ago. It’s probably really hard for people who have never liked or cared about celebrities enough to understand his effect, not just on me, but the millions of fans who have varying levels of acquaintance with and active following of his news. The last celebrity death that managed to cause such a stir was probably MJ, then again he wasn’t an idol and the emotionally invested fans are not as aplenty. Fans - no, actually people in general - give condolences like “he’s in a better place now”, but the more I think about it, isn’t the only “better place” absolutely loss of consciousness for people who commit suicide?
